The Gory Details....
Business & Technologist Career: Just recently, I took on a new career challenge at Notion Solutions, heading up their Technical Sales & Marketing for the Visual Studio Team System tools and consulting services. This new adventure combines together technology, marketing, and sales expertise into a single job... sort of a mega jack-of-all-trades. It'll be a fun ride, especially since I'm "staying Indy" with this small 14 person shop.
Black Tiger Karate: What a joy it is to be both a student and an instructor in Tang Soo Do! I walked into the Black Tiger Karate dojang (training hall) for the first time on June 13, 2002, and that one choice truly revolutionized my life. As a 3rd Degree Black Belt, I have had the tremendous pleasure of training under the expertise of Master Dale Gutt and the rewarding experience of instructing our younger students (ages 7-15). http://www.blacktigerkarate.com
Toastmasters: There is no better organization on the planet to bring together success-oriented people than Toastmasters! Toastmasters is a worldwide organization dedicated to helping men and women learn the arts of speaking, listening, and critical thinking - vital skills that help promote self-actualization, enhance leadership skills, and foster personal growth. Psychology: Social psychology, neuropsychology, developmental psychology, industrial/organizational psychology... it doesn't matter! Other Hobbies: In addition to The Biggies (above), I have a variety of other adventurous hobbies that add a splash of color to my life:
- Fitness and exercise
- Wine, Port, and Beer tasting (Warre's Tawny Optima 10 port is divine!)
- Movies... especially martial arts flicks (subtitles are a good thing!)
- Visiting tea houses across Texas
- Music (any kind will do!)
- Traveling - both within the U.S. and internationally
- Spending oodles of time with friends and family :)
